Samba, Feb 28: Today on Range Police Hqrs. Jammu organized T20 Cricket Tournament under Civic Action Programme 2022-23 at Sports Ground Kehli Mandi Samba, inaugrated by Chief Guest worthy DIG Jammu Sh. Shakti Kumar Pathak, Sh. Benam Tosh, SSP Samba, was the Guest of Honour and Staff Officer to DIG Jammu Sh. Rajinder Katoch, Chairman Municipal committee Samba Sh. Pawan Kohli ji and Councillor Sh. Vinod Binny ji were the Special guest and other dignataries were also present to boost the morale of the Players.
The committee Members of Range Police Hqrs. Jammu were also present for smooth functioning of the event. The event starts with the welcome of the Chief guest with band and offering flowers to the photographs of Martyr’s. DIG, Jammu Sh. Shakti Pathak, IPS boost the morale of the players to take part in the sports activities and stay away from the drugs, He also narrate Jammu and Kashmir Police will organize such type of events in future as well.
Staff officer to DIG Jammu Sh. Rajinder Katoch narrates about the whole Schedule and Prize Money for the Winning Team , Runner up Team and Man of the Match. SSP Samba Sh. Benam Tosh ji play a major role in organizing the event in Samba and thanks worthy DIG Jammu for organizing such type of event. There are Four Pools i.e Pool-A, Pool-B, Pool-C and Pool-D and each pool has eight teams.
Today in first Match Chichi Mata Cricket Club Samba beat Samba Warriors by 81 Runs and Sourabh Sharma declared Man of the Match for scoring 60 runs in 49 balls and 02 wickets and in second Match Chandwan Cricket Club beat Baba Hasal Dev Cricket Club by 133 runs and Suresh Kumar declared Man of the Match for his splendid batting by scoring 89 runs in just 49 balls.
Each team winning league Match will get Cash Prize of Rs 2500/- and Runner up gets Rs. 1500/- and Certificate and Cricket ball for Man of the Match and Cash Prize for winning Final Match is Rs. 10,000/- and Runner up team is Rs. 7500/- and Certificate and Trophy for Final Man of the Match. Final and Semifinal Matches will Play in District Jammu.
