SHO Miran Sahib working assiduously!

Jammu, Jan 06: The police of Police Station Miran Sahib under the guidance of its SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq is determined to work for the eradication of crime and as well of social evils and continuing the said sequence it arrested a notorious criminal, who was wanted in several old cases, whereas, today, a fresh case of assault was also lodged against him.
As per the report, on 06-10-2022, Miran Sahib police received a complaint from Sandeep Singh S/O Jasbir Singh R/O Sarore, Bari Brahmana, Samba against Dilbagh Singh S/O Janak Singh R/O W No 4 Simbal Camp Tehsil RS Pura district Jammu regarding assault on him and snatching of Scorpio car (amounting approximately Rs 2000000). In this regard, a case under FIR No 126/2022 U/S 307/382/IPC, 4/25 Arms act got registered in Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
After this special police teams of PS Miran Sahib under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh were constituted. The team led by SHO PS Miran Sahib Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq did strenuous efforts and with the help of various CCTV footages of the area finally generated the input regarding the said person escaped to Punjab. On this a special police team was sent to Punjab and with the help of native police of the area finally traced the said hardcore criminal namely Dilbagh Singh S/O Janak Singh R/O W No 4 Simbal Camp Tehsil R S Pura district Jammu from Punjab and recovered Scorpio S 11 bearing registration no JK21H 9797 from his possession.
It is pertinent to mention that the said criminal is a hardcore criminal and history sheeter of this Police Station. Moreover there are more than 13 criminal cases in J&K UT and 02 cases in Punjab state registered against him and the said accused was evading his arrest. The nature of cases accused was involved into were attempt to murder, assault cases, stabbing using illegal fire arms and sharp edged weapons, NDPS Act, counterfeit currency cases etc.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
