The officers of the concerned department must address these concerns promptly to satisfy the public’s demand for clarity and accountability.

The letter read as: ‘Sub:- Regarding issuance of duplicate order. R/sir, With due regards and humble submission that I Tehseen Ahmed presently working in the Private Section of Deputy Secretary (M), submit as under:- 1) That original order vide Govt. order No. 25 of 20-01-2022 was modified to include the name of Nazia Akhtar who is my cousin. 2). There is no role of any other official of the department and they were not even aware of this order. 3). There is no rle of any beneficiary as nazia Akhter is my cousin and I have favoured her only because of emotional attachment, 4). That, since I have not done this for any other benefit. Kindly consider my case sympathetically and I swear that I will not be repeat this again and if any such type of error will be done again by me, I am ready to get terminated from my services, but kindly give me one chance as I am the sole bread earner of my family. Yours faithfully, Tehseen Ahmed, P.A. to DS (M).’ As the date mentioned, the confession letter of accused Tehseen Ahmed was written on 10-02-2022.
