Srinagar, June 15: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday said that focus is on to make education a powerful medium for independent research and growth.
“Our focus is to make education a powerful medium for independent research, growth of independent ideas and the classrooms to be a place where dreams and aspirations are born”, Lieutenant Governor said during his visit to Delhi Public School Srinagar on Thursday.
“Had a wonderful interaction with the Students of Delhi Public School, Srinagar earlier today”, the office of the LG said in a series of tweets.
Teachers’ task is not to finish the syllabus but to hone raw potential within children & to transform the journey of learning in a creative, engaging and collaborative way, LG said and added they should put every child through this process so that he or she can recognize the inner voice, courage & wisdom.
He said artificial Intelligence has brought unprecedented change in every sphere of our lives.
Soon, AI-powered schools will provide customized education, and enhance the capability of children but despite this advanced technology only teachers will be able to provide Education of Conscience, he added. UNI
