Mysterious blast in a car at boulevard road causes panic, no one injured

Srinagar, Apr 2: (UNI) A mysterious blast took place in a vehicle on Boulevard road near the famed Dal Lake in Srinagar on Sunday causing panic in the vicinity, sources said.
No one was injured in the blast, they said, but the car was partially damaged.
The blast took place in the rear of a Honda city on the fashionable Boulevard road. An elderly couple Mrs and Mr Hafizullah Bhat resident of Kralsangri Nishat were in the vehicle.
However, both are safe and sound, sources said. Prima facie the blast looks like some equipment failure, they added.
Police reached the spot and took cognizance of the incident.
