Jammu, Jan 22:
The J&K Government has handed over the investigation in the trap case against Tehsildar Bahu, who was caught red handed by Anti -Corruption Bureau while demanding and accepting bribe to Central Bureau of Investigation to further investigate in the case FIR No 02/2022, Police Station ACB Rajouri that too with the approval of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha. This is sufficient to understand that ACB with each passing day is losing its credibility so the J&K government has requested the CBI to investigate the issue.
It is pertinent to mention that the ACB in this case has not done its home work properly prior to lay the trap on the accused Tehsildar. The Verifying Officer of Police Station ACB Rajouri made very slackness in this case. The Verifying Officer has ignored to verify the credentials of the complainant, which was the most important part of the process. Now the CBI will investigate each and everything including that why Verifying Officer had ignored to verify the credentials of complainant who is booked twice in Police Station Bahu Fort for forgery besides the then DLM JDA has approached the SSP Crime Branch Jammu to register FIR against the complainant on 27-11-2019 vide his office letter No JDA/DLM/HQA/1473-74 for forging the documents to encroach the land.
It is grave issue that after writing a letter to SP Crime Jammu on 27-11-2019 for registering FIR against trio Kuldeep Kour, Amandeep Singh and Sominder Singh, has the DLM JDA followed the case or not, if followed that upto what level they have followed and pressed if not then the CBI will investigate from sitting DLM for ignoring the issue. Ignoring such criminal conspiracy and forgery issues is a crime and CBI will not ignore to investigate the sitting DLM. In letter, the then DLM mentioned ‘resulting in huge loss to the Jammu Development Authority’ and it is very big thing and not to be compromised or condoned at any cost.
The other FIR also being registered in Police Station Bahu Fort against Kuldeep Kour and Saminder Singh FIR No 303 dated 27-12-2022 u/s 420, 467, 468, 471 for forging the Power of Attorney. This Power of Attorney was the base for seeking Farad and the same turned to be a fake and so the Tehsildar was not issuing Farad. The complainant has the history of forging and faking the documents to encroach the land.
Moreover, the said Tehsildar Bahu had retrieved near about 1382 kanal of encroached land from the encroachers and more than 2000 kanal JDA got demarcated and handed over to JDA. During his stay he had revived Jamabandi and other necessary revenue record, which was lost or damaged.
The Jammu Jottings has received so many calls from the readers and congratulated that J&K government has taken a decision to hand over the case of Bahu Tehsildar Rohit Sharma to CBI as the ACB being J&K investigating agency could not handle properly and in consonance with J&K Law. The way and manner the ACB Rajouri unfolded the case was inappropriate. This raised serious questions about not only the applicant of fard/complainant in trap case but also the manner, motive and process in which the case was unfolded. Now, the readers expressed their joy over the decision, which will bring the truth on surface.
