Khan declares Assembly Secretary retired before 17-09-2022; in fact she retired on 30-09-2022

Why he made such a biggest blunder?

• In the reply letter of FAA Farooq Ahmad Khan has made two biggest blunders first he lied that Secretary has been retired on previous month but in reality she retired (30-09-2022) after 13 days of signing his letter on 17-09-2022.
• Second blunder he made that the letter of RTI activist dated 12-09-2022 addressed to FAA, was received by the office of Secretary before or on 14-09-2022 but PIO had not placed the same letter before the then Secretary till she retired after 16 days i.e. 30-09-2022..
• The then Secretary was having sufficient period of 16 days to reply the RTI letter addressed to FAA dated 12-09-2022 but the PIO has not placed the same letter before her for his ulterior motives.

Jammu, Dec 29: Is not a biggest lie in the history of Jammu & Kashmir that the serving PIO Farooq Ahmed Khan, Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat said on 17-09-2022 that ‘in view of the retirement of the designated First Appellant Authority of the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat i.e. Secretary Legislative Assembly in previous month’, when she was still serving and retired on 30-09-2022, after 13 days of letter? Why PIO Farooq Ahmed Khan, Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat has lied in black and white that the secretary has been retired in previous month when she was in service? What was the intention of PIO Farooq Ahmed Khan, Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat in telling white lie to a responsible citizen? Why not government must order to investigate the intention of PIO Farooq Ahmed Khan, Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat for such blunder? These are very serious issues which should be taken seriously to expose more blunders in the cupboard of the PIO Farooq Ahmed Khan, Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat.
The story starts from that one RTI activist has applied to verify the genuineness of one employee, as every media house was making headlines that backdoor/wrong/malpractices appointments have been made in past. But the same person was PIO and he instead of replying the questions he started searching excuses to reject the RTI application, which is itself a crime and I will expose it latter. The RTI activist Iqbal Singh Iqbal has approached First Appellant Authority through his letter dated 12-09-2022 sent by speed post from Jammu and same has been received in the office Secretary on 13-09-2022 or 14-09-2022 and on that day the Secretary Renu Mahajan was very much serving but the wicked PIO Farooq Ahmad Khan who received the letter of FAA and it seems that no one has placed the letter before Renu Mahajan to avoid the reply but the PIO Farooq Ahmad Khan tried to mislead the RTI activist.
The content of the letter of Farooq Ahmad Khan are as ‘This is with reference to the First Appeal dated 12/09/2022 preferred by you in terms of selection 19 of the RTI Act, 2005 the said appeal could not be disposed off by this secretariat in view of the retirement of the designated First Appellant Authority of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat i.e. Secretary, Legislative assembly in previous month and same will be processed/disposed off as and when the aforementioned First Appellant Authority will assume the office.’ The letter was signed by Farooq Ahmad Khan, Public Information Officer and was signed on 17-09-2022. The intriguing part of the story is that the then Secretary Renu Mahajan was retired on 30-09-2022 after 13 days of writing the letter by him. He made black and white lie in writing, which clearly indicates that the credentials of the said officer must be investigated by a skilled agency that why he lied openly and what he want to convey the people.
Let me take you back that when the RTI activist Iqbal Singh Iqbal has filed RTI application to PIO then the same officer has made reply on 17-08-2022 with several fake excuses to avoid the reply to the RTI activist. This clearly shows that the said officers has some hidden agenda and it also substantiate that there are backdoor/wrong/malpractices appointments, which should be inquired by CBI and PIO knows all well.
See the sequence of the replies made by the PIO Farooq Ahmad Khan as he first replied on 17-08-2022, then he signed on another reply letter on the behalf of the FAA on 17-09-2022 and he despatched the same letter on 17-10-2022.
