Jammu, Dec 15: How is it possible that students getting admission in Jammu based Nursing Colleges but exam are being conducted by Punjab Nursing Colleges? Who is running and controlling the Jammu based Nursing Colleges, J&K Paramedical & Nursing Council or Baba Farid University of Health Services, Punjab? Who is behind this scam and playing with the future of the students? Why the J&K Paramedical & Nursing Council is sleeping over this heinous scam, which is dangerous for the society? Who is minting the money from this Nursing scandal? Is there any involvement of J&K Paramedical & Nursing Council in this scam or ignorant about this kind of nexus or feeling helpless in this case? These are some sharp questions for the officers of the J&K Paramedical & Nursing Council and government too, so both may come with reply to satisfy the people urge.
This is very strange that some persons employees of private nursing colleges of Jammu district and some are the ex-students of the Punjab nursing colleges with the involvement of Jammu based Nursing colleges owners are operating such nexus. The danger is not only limited to the nursing students who are being cheated by such notorious nexus but the entire society is being affected. The practice of fake and proxy admission is totally against the norms of INC and UGC as students will have zero percent attendance where they were actually admitted and the classes which they are attending in Jammu and students having zero percent attendance at the actual place of admission cannot take any sort of examination. But the gangsters are minting hefty amounts from the innocent students who even do not know their actual college in which they have been admitted but at the time of exam they are being told that their examination centre has been allotted in Punjab.
There are some chances that may be the nursing colleges of Punjab are unaware about such malpractices but some Nursing Colleges of Jammu are strategically involved in this nexus. As per sources one such nursing college is at the border area of Jammu district, one in the posh area of Jammu and third one is near the highway.
The middle men comprises of a group of 4-5 people who intermediate between Punjab Colleges and Nursing Colleges of Jammu. Their practice was exposed in some colleges of Punjab where their entry is restricted now, but each session they opt for new colleges in this scam.
The most serious matter is that there are many such students whom they did not tell that their actual admission is done in Punjab. They lie with them and call them in Nursing Colleges of Jammu to start their classes to satisfy the students. But some days before the exam the scammers inform the concerned students to appear for exams in Punjab but at this stage the students do not have other option and so they silently move to Punjab to take exam.
This nexus has been going on since 2021 and the JK Paramedical & Nursing Council is still unmoved. They are either hand in glove or are in deep slumber. Sources told Jammu Jottings that many things are managed by these colleges in council and there are many evidences.
As per information available with the Jammu Jottings many students who are getting admissions in BSc Nursing, Post BSc Nursing and GNM Courses in various colleges of Punjab are attending their classes in Nursing Colleges of Jammu. This practice is totally illegal and unethical. The middlemen give lucrative offers for the students who failed to get a seat under BOPEEE counselling in Jammu Colleges. These middle men offer the students that they have setting in some colleges of Punjab where they have to attend only exams whereas their classes will be held in Jammu.
