Land robbers hand-in-globe with corrupt revenue officers!

• The corrupt revenue officers have taken hefty money as bribe from the land robbers for converting the state land into ownership land so that they may not lose the land after scrapping of Roshni Act as they have land under Roshni Act.

Jammu, Dec 14: How can a revenue officer convert the state land into ownership land, which was mutated under Roshani Act and later cancelled by the government itself? Who is behind such gruesome act in the history of revenue department? Why the district administration is silent over such malpractices? These are some tough questions for the government and especially for the district administration to come with a reply to satisfy the people.
There are some revenue officials who are involved in this gruesome act of violating the state land and resorting the anti-law activities in the department. It is being said that some Patwari has devised such type of notion and the same has been nodded by the Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars. There are some land-grabbers with the help of shrewd revenue officers have got benefit but they forgot that the state is under the administration of honest Lt Governor Manoj Sinha who has made up his mind to sweep out the corrupt practices from the administration and to throw out the corrupt officers from the government.
There are many instances in the Jammu district where the land grabbers has laid their hands on the state land that too under patronage of the revenue officers including Tehsidars, Naib Tehsildars and Patwari. Here, I am not talking about the all revenue officers but one rotten apple can spoil all the apples.
The district administration must take cognizance of such grave violation in the revenue record as no any gentle are poor person had been benefitted by the illegal act but the land robbers, criminals and goons have been benefitted by the grace of corrupt revenue officers. The corrupt officers are not untraceable but they are known to everyone in the department but only little effort of the district administration can expose them and save the government property worth in crores.
