- The Secretary has banned the private practice of three doctors Dr Junaid Khursheed posted at District Hospital Budgam, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat posted at SDH Sopore and Dr Yawar Nisar Super Speciality Hospital Srinagar vide Government Order No. 758 -JK(HME) of 2022 dated 27-10-2022.

Jammu, Oct 27: The Health & Medical Education department has banned private practices of the three doctors who are allegedly violated the Standard Treatment Guidelines (STG) issued by National Health Authority (NHA) till pending enquiry into the allegations levelled against them.
In an emergency order issued by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir Health & Medical Education Department banned the private practice of three doctors including Dr Junaid Khursheed posted at District Hospital Budgam, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat posted at SDH Sopore and Dr Yawar Nisar Super Speciality Hospital Srinagar. The order said as ‘Pending enquiry into the allegations, regarding violation of Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs) issued by the National Health Authority (NHA), the following doctors are banned from doing any private practice across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, with immediate effect.’ The names of three doctors with place of postings are given in column in the order.
The order was issued on 27-10-2022 vide Government order No 758 – JK(HME) of 2022 after receiving the complaints and allegations levelled against them. The subject of the said order is as ‘Violation of Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs) issued by National Health Authority (NHA) – Banning of private practice of doctors thereof.’ The order was issued with the reference of State Health Agency, Jammu & Kashmir. The Reference is as – ‘U.O No. SHA-SAFU/2/2022-05 dated 21.10.2022 from State Health Agency, J&K’
The order of banning of private practice of three doctors was issued on the behest of reference of State Health Agency. The order was approved by the Secretary to the Government Health & Medical Education Department Bhupinder Kumar IAS and was signed by Under Secretary to the Government Health & Medical Education Department Mihammad Iqbal Lone.
The said order copies were sent to Joint Secretary (Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi; Mission Director, national Health Mission, J&K; Chief Executive Officer, AB-PMJAY and SEHAT, J&K; Director, Archives, Archaeology & Museums, J&K; Director, Health Services, Jammu/Kashmir; OSD with Advisor (B) to Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor; Pvt. Secretary to Secretary to the Government, Health & Medical Education Department; Concerned Doctors; etc.
