Inquiry Committee has to be proactive to nab culprits

Tests of SI & FAA be cancelled!

• The involvement of one teacher is a new development and Inquiry Committee must hand over the case to CBI for an independent inquiry.
• Delaying in action means giving time to scoundrels to erase the evidence, which will hamper the inquiry.

Jammu, Jun 15: The Inquiry Committee constituted by the General Administrative Department of Jammu & Kashmir Government on the directions of Lt Governor, has to be pro active so that the involved persons may not erase the evidence going against them.
The Inquiry Committee is being headed by an honest person RK Goyal IAS and two other members are also genuine but the committee has to yield results in this infamous recruitment scandal. The reports pouring in the office indicates that some accused who have made big money transaction for bribe through their bank accounts are now trying to cook a new story to justify the bank transactions during this period. The families of some of toppers in JKP SI written test have made huge bank transaction are now trying to justify by cooking some other conspiracies.
Following the directions of the higher department, the police has taken cognizance of the burning issue but now it is turn of the Inquiry Committee to issue substantial orders to the police so that the police may question them about the scandal.
The most intriguing part of the story is that most of the touts are from Akhnoor and Khour, whereas most of the elected aspirants are also from Akhnoor and Khour. Some of the toppers have left their native place to evade the arrest.
With each passing day the number of persons involved in the infamous scam increasing day by daym, which indicates that the scam has been remained broad based and so it should be taken seriously. The involvement of a government teacher also surfaced in this scam, whereas a retired paramilitary person and serving officers of paramilitary also neck depth involved in it,.
These scoundrels are not only limited the JKP SI written test scam but they have done their hidden job of bribery in other written tests including FAA. The toppers of FAA written tests also be re-examined and the Inquiry Committee must take cognizance of this also.
