24 kanal land at Bhalwal should be used by government for public purpose

It is now state land!

•  He grabbed it, the mutation was through, but Avni Lavasa deflated his game plan of grabbing the land!
•  But when the papers of the same reached the then SDM North Avni Lavasa immediately went to the original documents and in one splash of her pen dispensed off the whole thing.
•  The mutation done was on a specialized revenue format Sehat Kast.

Jammu, May 27: Why the administration not taking over the land grabbed by a retired police officer? Why are not the revenue officers demarcating the land as a state land and handing over to any government, which needs the land? Why some of the revenue officers are taking the issue callously? Why the officers are not following the foot-steps of the then SDM Jammu North and now DC Jammu Avni Lavasa who cancelled the mutation of land measuring 24 kanals faling under Khasra No 2799 situated at Bhalwal? These are some hot points to be considered by the administration to rectify the mistakes and put the things on right despite the pressure exerted from the side of retired Inspector general of Police.
The issue is very different that the then SDM Jammu North has cancelled the illegal mutation of Renu Atri resident of 291/1 Channi Himmat who happens to be wife of retired IG of police and then SDM observed that mutation is not accordance with the law of land, so she cancelled. After that no revenue officer has taken the interest to save the state land which is the property of government. After the mutation has been cancelled by the revenue authority, the land automatically goes to state and the responsibility lies on the revenue officers but they failed after the transfer of Avny Lavasa.
The intriguing part of the story is that several government departments are in the need of land to establish the offices out of city but the revenue officers have never projected this land measuring 24 kanals and very near to city. The Deputy Commissioner Jammu Avny Lavasa knows this case very well and she has done great job by cancelling the mutation and retrieving the land from a retired police who grabbed the land by using his official position, when he was in job.
