Skill Development Department needs “alignment” to be purposeful

Dismal in Kashmir but dingy at Jammu!

• Frequent attachments are made in Department of Skill Development in brazen violation of the government policy but the concerned officers are unmoved over it.
• Now the onus is on the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to have a surgical strike on the Department of Skill Development so that students may be skilled.

Jammu, May 23: Why are the administrators of Department of Skill Development so callous that they do not see brazen violations in worthless attachments? Why they feel proud in ordering worthless attachment resulting in playing with the future of students? Why is not the commissioner taking the personal interest to save the Department of Skill Development so that skilled youth may be produced? What the lecturers, instrictirs and superindents are doing in the office of DSD and SBOTE? Who is behind this entire bungling of making useless attachments leaving the students to suffer? These are some concerns to be worked out and all the attachments in this department may be cancelled immediately.
Here I am giving names of some officers who are attached with other offices to avoid the job work for which they are being paid. One lecturer Jetinder Kewsar has been attached with Directorate of Skill Department for nothing whereas his actual posting is in Boys Polytechnic Jammu to teach the students but he hardly cares for his job. The attachment of a lecturer to the officer Director is most unfortunate part and it seems that they are aiming to destroy the future of Jammu students. Likewise Mushtaq Ahmed Sectional Officer has been attached with DSD whereas his actual place of posting is Polytechnic Rajouri. Lab Assistant Pawan Kumar of Women Polytechnic Jammu has been attached to DSD. An orderly Pankaj Kumar of Polytechnic Jammu has been attached to DSD. Muzaffar Hussian Mali of Boys Polytechnic has been attached with DSD, without any logic. A junior assistant of ITI Samba Balwant has been attached to DSD. Lecturer Shakeel A Dar of Polytechnic Anantnag has been attached with DSD. Demonstrator Rayees Ahmad of Polytechnic Pulwama has been attached with DSD. ITI superintendent of Women Polytechnic Jammu has been attached with DSD.
Whereas, ITI Superintendent Vivek Sagar of Women Polytechnic of Jammu too attached with DSD; and Zahida Parveen of ITI Darmadi has been attached with SBOTE for no purpose. An orderly Inder Singh of Boys Polytechnic Jammu has been attached with secretariat and Suresh Sharma Librarian of ITI Kalakote has ben attached with DSD. One Warun Kumar computer operator of ITI Kalakote has been attached with secretariat and Instructor Rajni of ITI Smaba attached with DSD. Instructor Pooran Chand of ITI Jammu also attached with DSD and Instructor Madan of ITI Jammu too attached with DSD. Junior Assistant Anita Biloroa of ITI Jammu has been attached with DSD and Tushar orderly of ITI Jammu also attached with DSD. TK Kachroo Work Superintendent Attendant of ITI Jammu attached with DSD and Neeraj Junior Assistant of JD Jammu also attached with DSD. Sanajot Kour Computer Operator of Boys Polytechnic Jammu attached with DSD and Instructor Sangeeta Puri of ITI Nowshera has been attached with JD Jammu. Instructor Surakah Manhas of ITI Mendhar has been attached with ITI Jammu and Instructor Nirmal Devi of ITI Rajouri has been also attached with ITI Jammu. Lecturer Harbinder pal of Polytechnic Budgam has been attached with SBOTE and another lecturer Sana also attached with SBOTE. Senior Assistant Tarsem of ITI RS Pura has been attached with DTE and another Senior assistant Suresh Kumar of Polytechnic of Kishtwar also attached with SBOTE. Whereas, one junior assistant Neelofar Khan of Polytechnic Jammu has been attached with SBOTE and orderly M Rafiq Pottay of women Polytechnic Jammu also attached with SBOTE.
These are good numbers of employees are being attached and they are deceiving their own office as they work in other office and get salary from another office.
In Department of Skill Development the attachment is a matter of proud and to ruin the career of students is on card. The General Administrative Department must take cognizance of this and immediate have a surgical strike to cancel all attachments and to send them on their actual place of postings.
