MD to managers are worthless!
- The officers of Jammu & Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation are responsible for severe loss, whereas the drivers, conductors and other lower class employees are the saviours of the corporation.
- Subordinates including drivers, conductors and helper have to obey officers and so these are the officers responsible for not wisely using their services.
- Â It is complete failure of Managing Director who remained incapable, inefficient and worthless to regulate & control the affairs of corporation.

Jammu, Feb 03: How the Government can retrieve the Jammu & Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation from the mess of severe loss? How the government can put the officers of Jammu & Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation on performing track? How the government can turn the corrupt officers of Jammu & Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation into honest officers? Why are not the corrupt officers of Jammu & Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation understanding the downing position of Corporation? Why are the officers of Jammu & Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation failed to prepare any perspective and long term plan for the revival of Corporation? All these things indicate that majority of the officers are corrupt, inefficient and incapable to work in their capacities so it would mandatory to throw them out one by one and depute some honest and efficient officers so that the Corporation can survive and progress.
The CAG has indicted that the services of drivers and conductors were not utilized effectively, as the drivers and conductors remained attached with the vehicles detained at workshops, despite the required staff available at the workshops, resulting in payment of Rs 44.95 crore to staff remaining idle. The CAG has put the onus on officers for nor properly utilizing the services of driver and conductors. The officers who attached or deputed the drivers and conductors with the vehicles detained in workshops should be held responsible for the wasting of Rs 45 crore.
The orders of attaching and deputing of drivers and conductors with vehicles detained in workshops must be checked to know about the officers who issued the orders and the officers be held responsible for wasting the money. It is pertinent to mention that drivers and conductors themselves cannot issue orders for deputing and attaching with the detained vehicles so they (drivers and conductors) are not responsible for this mess. The officers may have their personal interest for attaching or deputing drivers and conductors with detained vehicles.
This is crystal clear that in Jammu & Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation there is no internal administration and at every step there is complete failure of officers from Manager to Managing Director. These officers must be investigated properly even by CBI that why by Corporation’s financial condition is worsening with each passing day.
There should be complete audit of work, performance and output of each on daily basis. Their daily performances be audited minutely that how much work they were doing every day. How many hours they have spent in working? How many words they (officers of Corporation) have read and written per day in the office record? How many times they have made discussion regarding the revival of corporation? How many plans they have shared on record? The officers are not only meant to draw handsome salary but they have to be responsible for the performances of their subordinates.
