Sheer misuse of PMAY-U scheme in Jammu, needs to be inquired

Jammu, No 16: Why the sanctioning authority has sanctioned the funds under PMAY-U to undeserving beneficiaries? Who misused his position and sanctioned to illegal families? What is going on within the government led by the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha? Why so much irregularities are going on during the President Rule and monitored by Lt Governor? Who is responsible for such type of huge misdeeds and malpractices in sanctioning of funds under PMAY-U? Why the Lt Governor not ordering a high level enquiry into this allege huge bugling of the J&K till date? Why Chief Secretary is silent over this huge bugling in the PMAY-U and not ordering the enquiry in this scam? These are the very tough and harsh questions for the entire administrators that the law is only for poor and week person, whereas the rich and influential people are excluded from the purview of Indian constitution.
Let me start with Akhnoor town, in which the financial assistance under PMAY-U/ accommodation and out of 206 Beneficiaries only 78 were found eligible, whereas around 22 cases are untraceable, 8 found to be constructed on forest land, five cases be on Gair Mumkin Chapri and above all most of the beneficiaries were having pacca houses who were found ineligible during the verification by revenue department.
But among 78 marked eligible by revenue department still have some ineligible beneficiaries who got favor from revenue officials. Our sources confirmed that there are still people in the list of beneficiaries having pucca houses even double stories. Once enquiry by Crime Branch or other agency is conducted then there would be more startling revelations be expected but who will bell the cat.
The scam admitted by Government itself is just a tip of an iceberg. There is great need that atleast once enquiry may be conducted and it can lead to multi-crore and misappropriation of public exchequer is done for which accountability should be fixed.
The genuine deserving people are yet out of lists, which is greatest mockery of the system and sheer misuse of the official position. Simply ordering of the huge amount is not going to be so easy. 2022 is deadline of scheme this will leave the dream of PM unfinished to provide pakka house to all in Nation.
There must be huge corruption or political influence in preparing lists of beneficiaries who are now found ineligible.
Chief Secretary has asked Housing and Urban Development department to weed out ineligible beneficiaries. This should be done in fair manner.
