• Why Rajouri district administration is not delivering its duty well to stop the operation of illegal brick-kiln in Sunderbani?
• The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Rajesh Shawan is a very honest and strict officer then why this illegal brick-kiln is operating under his nose.

Sunderbani, Nov 11: Prominent people of village panchayat lower Bhajwal blocked the brick kiln road and protest against district administration for suffering from pollution of brick kiln Ainpur Bhajwal tehsil Sunderbani district Rajouri. The protestors alleged that two males & one female have been expired by asthma diseases and others many suffering from various diseases, heart problems & allergy due to the dust pollution of Shàmsher brick kiln Ainpur Bhajwal. It is a million dollar question that after the seizure the brick kiln Ainpur Bhajwal is selling the raw clay bricks & again start work making bricks at Shàmsher Brick Kiln & also digging agricultural lands. Social worker Zorawar Singh and others many people said few days ago PWD department want to repair this road they spread red soil instead of bajri when the brick kilns vehicles are running the dust goes the houses of people. People said that this brick kiln was ceased by the order of member secretary of state pollution control board (SPCB) Jammu on 19 April 2021 with order number 07 JK PCC/2021 & serial number 364 after the complaints by local people. Now the people of these areas is suffering from different diseases by the pollution of oldest model vehicles polluting atmosphere with dust & smoke. They said this brick kiln has been closed by J&K pollution control board Jammu vide order no. 07-J&K-PCC of 2021 under endorsement no. JKPCC/LSJ/01/02/32-35 on dated 19-04-2021 ACT 1974. In the reply to RTI by tehsildar Sunderbani vide his letter No OQ/SB/2021-22/452 on dated 20-10-2021 currently Shàmsher brick kiln Ainpur Bhajwal is not working as it has officially been sealed by the order of ADC Rajouri vide no. DCR/2021-22/ACCTT/81-85 dated 06.05.2021.
But brick kiln Ainpur Bhajwal tehsil Sunderbani district Rajouri J&K UT is violation of law with functioning continue forcefully making & selling bricks continue in collaboration with administration.
Many people complaint to ADC Sunderbani & DC Rajouri but no any action seen by district administration is silent why.
Prominent people said that the brick kiln on the name & title M/S Shamsher brick kiln in the village Ainpur Bhajwal tehsil Sunderbani which was ceased, he have no legal documents, such as no renewal licence, no environment clearance certificate and no any NOCs etc. They questioned that Law is only for poor people and not for rich or influential people. They said that it is very ironically that vendors of vegetables and fruits such as (rehari & fadi wale) couldn’t sale their fruits and vegetables or other items without renewal licence but a brick kilns can function without renewal licence in Sunderbani,
The protestors urged the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri to take necessary action against Shamsher brick kiln by immediate closing it besides cancel its license once for all. They further said that if district administration fails to take action against this brick kiln then the people would be forced to block the main road against the administration.
