NIA arrests 2 more J&K Terrorism Conspiracy Case

Srinagar, Oct 29: The National Investigation Agency(NIA) on Friday arrested two more persons as part of the probe of J&K Terrorism Conspiracy Case.
The NIA registered the case on October 10 and during the investigation so far, 23 accused persons have been arrested.
A spokesperson of NIA said searches were conducted on Friday in three districts of J&K during which two more accused were arrested.
“NIA conducted searches at eight locations in Srinagar, Sopore and Baramulla Districts of Jammu and Kashmir and arrested two more accused persons namely Amir Ahmad Gojri of Srinagar and Saddat Amin alias Syed Arhan of Sopore,” the spokesperson said.
“Searches conducted today led to recovery of electronic devices and incriminating Jehadi documents/posters etc. Preliminary investigation has revealed that arrested accused persons are terror associates/OGWs of various proscribed terrorist organisations and have been providing logistical and material support to terrorists,” he said, adding that further investigation in the case is ongoing.
The case relates to alleged conspiracy for carrying out violent terrorist acts in J&K and other major cities of the country by cadres of Laskhar-e-Toiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM), Al Badr and their affiliates such as The Resistance Front (TRF), People Against Fascist Forces (PAFF) etc, agency spokesperson said.
