Amit Shah pays obeisance at Mata Kheer Bhawani temple in Ganderbal

Srinagar, Oct 25: Union Home Minister, Amit Shah paid obeisance at Mata Kheer Bhawani temple, a revered temple in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Shah is on his last leg of his three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
On Monday morning, the Home Minister wearing a traditional Kashmiri pheran (traditional gown worn by people in Kashmir during winters) arrived at the temple along with J&K Lt governor Manoj Sinha and offered prayers, officials said. The temple is located in Tulmulla village of Ganderbal.
Security was beefed up across the Ganderbal district during the HM’s visit, they added.
Shah is also scheduled to inaugurate several development projects in Srinagar and also hold a meeting with civil society members on Monday on the last day of a three-day visit to J&K. In the afternoon he would visit a CRPF base in south Kashmir.
Union Home Minister arrived in Srinagar on Saturday morning on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir and chaired a high level security meeting. On Sunday he addressed a rally in Jammu. This is the first visit of Union Minister Shah after J&K’s special status was abrogated on August 5, 2019. UNI
