Jammu, Oct 06: Despite adopting the dilly-delaying policy in opening the History Sheet of notorious criminal Noor Mohd son of Saif Ali resident of Village Chowadhi Jammu the Station House Officer Police Station Channi Himmat has at last opened the History Sheet and sent the report to office of the Sub Divisional Police Officer City (East) Jammu.
As per the letter of Station House Officer, Police Station Channi Himmat vide his office letter No 2843/5-1/PSC dated 06-10-2021 has convyed to his SDPO that he has opened the History sheet of notorious criminal Noor Mohd as desired by the people and the situation also warrant such action. The people of the locality were feeling uncomfortable with the unbecoming behaviour of the notorious criminal and he has lashed terror in the locality. The letter said that History Sheet of the notorious criminal Noor Mohd son of Saif Ali resident of village Chowadhi Jammu has been opened at this police station vide DDr No 19 dated 05-10-2021. The SHO gave the reference of SDPO letter No 21611/SDCEJ dated 29-09-2021, while submitting the report to the office of SDPO Jammu East.
The people of the locality has approached the several office of police department to get rid from his misconduct and nuisance created by him and at last the Deputy Inspector General of Police Jammu-Samba-Kathua has come into action and asked the Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu district vide his letter No CB/2021/7140 dated 09-08-2021 to act accordingly. In his letter to Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu district the Deputy Inspector General of Police wrote as. “Please find enclosed herewith an application received through residents of Chowadhi Jammu which is self explanatory. In this regard, you are advised to go through the contents of the application and take a decision after verifying the ground facts. The action taken report be shared with this office.”
It is pertinent to mention that the content of representation of public addressed to the DIG Jammu as that the nor Mohd has become threat to public peace, he has spread reign of terror among the people of the area, he often threaten people, he is a land grabber, he has many persons having lethal weapon and three FIRs are only registered in Channi Himmat police station besides other FIR. This was the sufficient material to open his History Sheet but why the SHO was evading it.
