Forest department is in mess needs to be revamped
*Mr LG has to intervene in the completely spoiled in every aspect as there is a flawed transfer policy, totally unjustified.
*Why the officers like Principal Chief Conservator and Chief Conservators are not giving proper attention to their offices, and only going like casuals?

It is astounding but it is fact that Forest department in Jammu is totally in mess and not only the illegal felling of trees especially Khair trees is defaming the department but the head office of Jammu province is containing many misdeeds and mismanagement.
If we come on the staff being posted in the office of Chief Conservator of Forest Jammu, there are some staff members may be enjoying the patronage of some powerful person or persons that they are being treated as permanent employees and ruling the department for years together.
Let me tell you about the employees having overstayed in the zonal head office, which has two major benefits. First this office does not move with darbar move to Srinagar as the office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Jammu & Kashmir move. Second they are in the head office of Jammu province enjoying all the facilities which a head office contains. There may be other several reasons too but these are the major reasons to be remained in office of Chief Conservator of Forest Jammu.
In this office there are six overstayed employees, one can say that they are above the law and system of the department. There is one Junior Assistant Surrinder Kour who is working in this office since June 2007. One can imagine that she has completed 14 years long in a office, where as there are some such employees those have not seen Jammu office even once.
There is one Manmohan Singh Junior Assistant, who is too working in the office of Chief Conservator of Forest Jammu since June 2008, long 13 years he has continuously enjoying in the office of Jammu province. Other is Renuka Sharma who is too working as Junior Assistant sonce December 2009, Junior Assistant Raman Kappor working since January 2011, Junior Assistant Neelam Devi working since August 2013 and one Senior Assistant Satish Ganjoo working since November 2011.
Now the issue is there is any rational transfer policy in the Forest department or the person/persons having link with higher authorities or with politicians or good in managing the higher ups will remain in the head officer other will be languishing in the offices of far-flung areas.
There should be a rational transfer policy in the department so that every employee serve hard and hyper-sensitive stations besides in comfortable offices like office of Chief Conservator of Forest Jammu.
