It is unbelievable but it is true that in CHC Akhnoor the chemists shops opened under the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra to provide quality medicines at affordable prices have been closed by the concerned officers under a conspiracy to give undue benefit to a private chemist of Akhnoor.
The Government of India has launched this scheme to give benefit to the poor families who often visits the government hospitals and can get medicine on very cheap prices but the BMO Akhnoor is very uncomfortable with such schemes which are helpful for poor.
The reports said that BMO has to buy the medicines to be sold on Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra, but BMO Akhnoor has not done his job and ignored to buy the medicine in this case, resulting in that the poor patients are forced to buy the medicines from those chemists’ shops who are having close proximity to BMO.
I have tried to talk with the Chief Medical Officer Jammu to have his version but he not attended my phone and remained elusive. Then I called to the BMO Akhnoor to have his version but he too not attended my phone calls.
But one this is very clear that the closure of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra Akhnnor is a well thought conspiracy and the BMO is very much involved in it.
