Phallian Mandal: Ahead of the Diwali festival, Tehsildar Mandal conducted an inspection of the Main Market, Phallian Mandal, to review market arrangements and ensure public safety, convenience and smooth movement of traffic during the festive season.
During the visit, the Tehsildar interacted with shopkeepers and briefed them about the importance of maintaining proper arrangements in the market. She directed shopkeepers not to display firecrackers, merchandise or other goods on roads and footpaths, emphasising that public spaces must remain free from encroachments to ensure hassle-free movement of pedestrians as well as vehicles.
She also stressed the importance of maintaining proper quality and hygiene standards in sweets and other food items, particularly during the festive season when the demand for such products increases. She urged shopkeepers to ensure that only fresh, hygienic and good-quality products are sold to customers and that necessary precautions are taken to maintain cleanliness in their establishments.
The Tehsildar further appealed to traders to conduct their business responsibly and cooperate with the administration in maintaining discipline and proper arrangements in the market. She emphasised that shopkeepers should remain mindful of public convenience and avoid any activities that could create inconvenience or safety concerns for residents and visitors.
She also appealed to the general public to celebrate Diwali in a peaceful and responsible manner while following necessary safety precautions. The visit highlighted the administration’s focus on ensuring a well-organised market environment and safeguarding the interests of consumers during the festive period.
The Tehsildar urged all shopkeepers, traders and residents to extend their cooperation to the administration so that Diwali celebrations in Phallian Mandal can be conducted in a safe, peaceful and hassle-free atmosphere.
