Goa, Oct 2: Showcasing its vibrant tourism landscape to the world, Goa Tourism is all set to participate in OTDYKH Leisure 2025, one of the largest international travel and tourism exhibitions, held in September 2025 at the Timiryazev Exhibition Center in Moscow, Russia.
At the heart of this global event will be the Goa Tourism Pavilion, located at Booth B13, which will reflect the lively theme ‘Sunshine and More in Goa’. The pavilion will offer a vivid glimpse into Goa’s rich, diverse, and evolving tourism offerings-designed to appeal to the modern, global traveller.
Speaking about the state’s participation, Minister for Tourism, Mr. Rohan A. Khaunte, said, “Goa has always been one of the most sought-after destinations for international travellers. Our presence at OTDYKH Leisure 2025 is yet another step in strengthening Goa’s global footprint. Through the theme ‘Sunshine and More in Goa,’ we aim to highlight the wide range of experiences our state offers-from pristine beaches to lush hinterlands, from wellness retreats to cultural heritage. Our focus remains on attracting quality tourism, building lasting partnerships, and positioning Goa as a responsible, world-class destination.”
Adding to this, Director of Tourism, Mr. Kedar Naik, emphasized that OTDYKH Leisure serves as a vital platform for engaging with international travel trade stakeholders and potential visitors. He stated, “We will be highlighting not just the leisure aspect of Goa, but also our initiatives in wellness, heritage, adventure, and community-based tourism. This is an opportunity to position Goa as a destination that celebrates sustainability, authenticity, and culture.”
The 2025 showcase will present Goa as much more than a beach paradise. Visitors to the Goa Pavilion will explore an immersive journey through the state’s wide-ranging tourism experiences. These include serene beaches, luxurious hospitality, wellness and spiritual tourism, heritage trails, adventure tourism, and unexplored hinterland trails. Also featured will be innovative community-based tourism models that reflect Goa’s commitment to inclusive and local-led development.
Recognizing the growing global emphasis on sustainable and regenerative tourism, Goa Tourism will also spotlight its eco-conscious efforts.
These include preserving natural ecosystems, promoting responsible tourism practices, and empowering local communities. The focus is on ensuring tourism benefits both the environment and the people.
More than just attracting international tourists, Goa’s participation in OTDYKH Leisure 2025 also aims to open new avenues for global collaborations, strategic partnerships, and investments that will further strengthen the state’s dynamic tourism sector.
Goa Tourism warmly invites global stakeholders, industry professionals, and curious travellers to visit Pavilion B13 and experience the charm, warmth, and diversity of “Sunshine and More in Goa.”
