- There are many skeletons in the cupboard of assembly secretariat and very soon it will be exposed and probably some employees have to give up their jobs.
- The Jammu Jottings will reveal each and everything in this concern and will dig the truth from the bottom in very soon in future.

Jammu, Jan 31: The RTI activist Iqbal Singh Iqbal will very soon get the reply to his RTI which he has filed and the same was duly received by the concern section of assembly secretariat on 19-07-2023 even one can say that 197 days earlier or 6 months and 13 days.
The RTI activist would be a whistle blower in exposing the backdoor/.wrong/fraudulent appointments made in the assembly during past time as the people having money power or muscle power or political power have easily got appointed in the assembly and the poor and genuine candidates were ignored deliberately.
It is an open secret that often several media houses had highlighted the issue of backdoor or wrong appointments in the assembly and such news were noticed by administration minutely. Recently a portal was carrying news regarding backdoor or wrong appointments have been made in the assembly secretariat and Lt Governor have seen the news.
The RTI activist, who tried to check the genuineness of appointments in assembly has filed an RTI by knowing about one of the employees of assembly like often cooks check the rice that have been properly cooked or not by picking one of the grains in the boiling pot. But the dilly delaying tactics of the assembly officials in replying to the said RTI indicates that there are many skeletons in the cupboard of assembly. He asked the 17 questions about an employee and replies of the most of questions are available in the service file of the said employee but the PIO has made it a big issue reasons better known to him.
But the prompt action of the Secretary, Assembly Manoj Kumar Pandit who has been designated as First Appellant Authority on 30-12-2022 and the appeal has been brought into his notice on 04-01-2023 and he disposed of the appeal on 05-01-2023 with the direction to the CPIO to provide reply to the applicant within 15 days to the applicant and the concerned CPIO Qazi Mushtaq Ahmad and he wrote a letter and some money from the applicant to provide reply. He asked the RTI activist to deposit Rs 36 to get the relevant information it means that the information is having 28 pages out of 28 pages applicant has to pay for 18 pages and 10 pages are to be provided without fee as per the RTI rule, if it has not been changed.
Our correspondent has talked with CIPO Qazi Mushtaq Ahmad and he told that he would provide the information sought by the RTI activist. Our correspondent shared with CPIO that one of the retired assembly officers told that the record of Jammu based appointed employees had not been damaged in any flood as pretended by PIO Farooq Ahmed Khan and his SO Iqbal Gul and it is completely safe in Jammu, whereas the Qazi has not denied it.
Now the issue is that when the energetic Secretary will take action against the PIO Fartooq Ahmed Khan and SO Iqbal Gul for mocking at the RTI act by providing a misleading reply, which has nothing to do with the factuality.
The office has been receiving several phone calls from the readers to produce the news of RTI which is going to reveal about the factuality of the assembly secretariat and will be whistle blower. As soon as the RTI activist Iqbal Singh Iqbal will get reply and Jammu Jottings will reveal every hidden truth. Whereas, the undue promotions that too without permission from the GAD and several others things will be exposed very near in future and the LG will surely take cognizance of this issue.
