Jammu, Oct 30: A big deal has been done to ensure the release the accomplices of the smugglers who were arrested with heroin. After which the names of three people were pulled out, whereas, a deal was struck in exchange for the removal of their names. A case has been registered against the remaining two people. Those whose names came out after their interrogation. He was brought for questioning, but the IO of the case has released them after getting the deal matured and two police officers have made handsome money from this deal. In this case, there are reports that police has recovered the huge money but there is mention of money recovery in the case history. The report further said it is not mentioned anywhere in the case.
According to the reports, about a month ago, a smuggler was arrested by the special squad (government-appointed squad) on the basis of an inputs. Who had brought goods from Kashmir. He was arrested from Jammu district. A consignment of heroin was recovered from him. The squad had been keeping an eye on him for a long time, but he always eluded. This time he was caught about a month ago and the interrogation was started. During investigation, some names surfaced, and the team also brought him for questioning. The reports said that a deal was managed between IO and criminals, after which all three were kept out of the case. Apart from this, one other was arrested and due to which action has been taken against only two people in this case. The remaining three have been set free.
