It should be investigated!
- The reply to RTI says another thing but the Samba Manager has its own story to say.
- The higher authorities must investigate in it deeply that why stand of Manager Samba is contrary to reply of RTI.
- The unnecessary harassment to an innocent family is not only sin but also crime under the law of land.

Jammu, Oct 18: How can the officials of State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (SIDCO) harass any innocent person over the possession of land? Why does the Manager of SIDCO Samba Rajinder Raina ask a private man to get the demarcation of land done by the Revenue department? Who is superior office in SIDCO department, Regional Office Jammu or office of Samba Manager? When the Regional Office of SIDCO clearly says that physical possession of 2277 kanals land allotted to SIDCO has been handed over by the Revenue Department then why a Manager unnecessarily create dispute over possession of land with poor family to harass them? Is it possible for a private person to get the demarcation done of 2277 kanals land of SIDCO by Revenue Department? These are some typical issues unnecessarily being created by the SIDCO Samba and these should be immediately taken up by the higher authorities to the logical disposal to give justice to the poor family.
The Manager SIDCO Samba claims that there is some portion of SIDCO land being possessed by one Sheetal Choudhary and Manager asks him to get the demarcation done by the Revenue Department but the reply to RTI vide letter No SIDCO/ROJ/RTI/2017/07/911-15 dated 04-12-2017 clearly states that possession of entire land allotted to SIDCO at IGC, Samba SIDCO Phase-I was handed over to SIDCO by Revenue Authorities and there is no land of SIDCO.
The reply to RTI of Sheetal Choudahry has not mentioned an iota that the land of SIDCO is in the possession of anyone in the locality. He has asked three questions and the reply to three questions is much clear and evidently replied. The reply letter says as ‘Please refer to your application I.D. No. 098101347 dated 13-10-2017 transferred in this office vide No. DCS/RTI/17-18/233 dated 27-10-2017 from the office of Dy Commissioner Samba, Jammu regarding supply of information on acquired land at IGC Samba SIDCO Phase-I. The information is as: The first question is: 1. ‘How much land acquired by SIDCO Phase-I.’ The reply to first question is as ‘The physical possession of 2277 kanals of land was handed over to SIDCO by Revenue Authorities.’ The second question is’ 2. How much land was/is covered with boundary.’ The reply to second question is as ‘Entire land i.e. 2277 kanals has been allotted to the prospective entrepreneurs who have built up their Industrial units alongwith boundary walls.’ The third question is: 3. ‘How much land is out of boundary and how much land is to be covered.’ The reply to third question is as ‘Same as above’. It means the reply to the third question is as the reply of second question and there is no any remaining land to be covered otherwise the reply to third could be different but the concern Manage of SIDCO has his own rule of law and he can do anything as he want. The letter was signed by Asstt. Public Information Officer but the name and mobile number of officer was not mentioned, which should be mentioned. The said letter was sent to Dy Commissioner Nandino Hills, Samba; 1st Appellate Authority JK SIDCO; and PS to MD for information of Managing Director, besides applicant Sheetal Choudhary.
The reply clearly states that there is no land of SIDCO which has to be possessed but the Manager SIDCO Samba Rajinder Raina and his associates has some plan which is only know to them. I called the Manager Rajinder Raina to verify the facts and he said that he had written to police to get the demarcation and also asked applicant to get the demarcation done. When I asked him that police has nothing to do with demarcation as Revenue department has to do demarcation then he twisted the reply and said that they have written to police to get the demarcation done. I asked him to provide me copy of the letter written to police then Mr Raina replied that I have to give in writing in his Darbar then I can get the copy to verify the news. It was first time in the history of journalism that to verify the news you have to give in writing and has to attend the Darbar of the officer.
It is pertinent to mention that the poor fellow Sheetal Chowdhary son of Lt Sh Madan lal resident of Rakh Amb Tali Tehsil Samba have a piece of land opposite Kangaroo Factory, IGC SIDCO Phase-1 Samba and the said land belongs to him decades. The said land has been in his possession for decades and there was no dispute but sometimes back some officials tried to create the dispute to capture the land from poor fellow.
