School Education Deptt in shamble!
- LG Sahib, please send your roving eyes in School Education Department and save the future of poor students from this incompetent administration.

Jammu, Jul 01: How can Abudal Rauf Dar Principal GHSS Rajouri hold the charges of ten institutes including one district level post as District Education Planning Officer Rajouri? Why the administration is so blind that could not see such type of mismanagement? How can a lecturer be transferred a school and posted in the same school? What is this bullshit? How can School Education Department promote ACR Qadeer ur Rehman KAS-2009 who was once teacher but he qualified KAS in 2009 and resigned the School Education department in the same year? How a person who was promoted as ZEO in 2013 can and now he has been promoted as incharge lecturer in Mathematics? What is going on in the School Education Department? Who is responsible for converting a well running department into a mess & chaos? These are some very serious issues to be highlighted and these indicate that School Education Department need immediate reshuffling from top to bottom other people will totally lose the trust on government schools.
One Ab. Rauf Dar Principal Government Higher Secondary School Rajouri has been deliberately given additional charges of District Education Planning Officer Rajouri; ZEO Rajouri; Headmasters High School Jawahar Nagar; High Sshool Muradhpur; High School Thandikassi; High School Gurdhan; High School Zayarat Sharief; Nodal Officer Eklavya Residential School Rajouri; and KGBV Girls Hostel Rajouri. Sometime earlier he was having the charge of Higher Secondary School Kakora too.
The intriguing part of the story that the said Principal is too much over burden and administration is very kind on him, it is beyond to understand. Moreover, the said principal is silent over this episode. It creates doubt the said principal is fetching some his personal interest. This case shows that Secretary School Education Department, Jammu & Kashmir and Director School Education are least bother about the students and teachers of Rajouri. The DEPO has to deal with all sort of school building construction and other planning issues but how this man can handle all these offices, which is much clear that it is cruel joke with Rajouri district and future of students. Alone in Rajouri Zone there are more than 700 teachers, besides 200 schools, 300 girls in GHSS Rajouri, 100 girls in KGBV Rajouri an 60 students in Eklavya Model residential School Rajouri. It is matter of concern that who is behind the curtain and who assigned these assignments to a single person, whereas he is at the verge of retirement. Prior to this he was serving as Principal in BHSS Rajouri and managed his transfer at zero km and posted/adjusted himself as Principal GHSS Rajouri, which is less than stone throw.
The School Education Department has beaten all the records of callousness and wrong doing and issued unique orders of transfer of two lecturers of Chemistry and Physics disciplines. They are transferred from a school and posted in the same school vide Govt. order No. 1679 JK Edu of 2022 dated 17/06/2022. This is first kind of transfer order since independence that the lecturers have been transferred and adjusted in the same school.
One Mohammad Imtiaz teacher was transferred by the than CEO Rajouri order dated 16/10/2021 after a long tenure of 18 years from HSS Manjkote and posted in GMS Hubbi zone Koteranka where 352 students are studying but after one month order was modified by the Principal Secretary School Education department and teacher was again posted in HSS Manjakote and great injustice was done with 352 students as there are only 4 teachers serving.
Amazing part of the School Education Administrative department that they are working in dark and in deep slumber. The department has promoted an ACR Qadeer ur Rehman KAS-2009, who quit the department in 2009 after qualifying the KAS exam. The other major lapse of the department that it had promoted its own ZEO to incharge lecturer, which is a cruel joke. He was promoted ZEO in 2013 but in 2022 he has been promoted as incharge lecturer in mathematics stream. These promotions have been made by Principal Secretary BK Singh IFS himself, which is matter of grave concern.
A school teacher namely Tohseen Ahmed from Surankote was deputed in Education Department by Principal Secretary School Education Department and that too in the personal section of Mukhtar Ahmed Sheikh the than Deputy Secretary Education. Both are cousin. The teacher on the authority of Higher ups had modified dozen of orders of Principal, ZEO’s, Lecturers later on the scandal was unveiled and he was placed under suspension, whereas Additional Secretary Education Department was appointed as enquiry officer but till date no FIR has been lodged, no enquiry report submitted and nothing has been done against the teacher defaulter/scammer.
It is the high time to save the School Education Department by reshuffling of Principal Secretary and posting an efficient officer. The prevail administration failed to serve the purpose of school education department. The condition of School Education department is so bad that GAD has to intervene to make some reforms.
