ACB nabs Naib tehsildar red-handed, recover huge money, documents

Jammu, Jun 30: The Anti Corruption Bureau today has a surgical strike on some corrupt revenue officers and their associates after receiving so many complaints against the corrupt Naib tehsildar and his subordinates Girdawar and patwari, beside his associates not from revenue department
The ACB today laid hands on one Naib Tehsildar who has created his own monopoly and created the terror among the innocent people of the Akhnoor. He has many times accused of forcing the people to bribe him for small or big things. He had created a nexus among the other people mostly of land grabbers who were on toe to grab the land and he was from the department extending them illegal support to them.
The ACB team headed by DSP Sanjeev Singh Slathia conducted a raid at Green Chili BAR at Paloura Jammu trapped on Naib Tehsildar a/p Akhnoor presently posted at Niabat Gharota. The ACB Team arrested the said naib Tehsildar on spot while taking bribe amounting Rs 1.50 Lac’s from someone.
The ACB team then went to his residence and measured his house to ascertain that how much money he has spent on his house. The other officials are Girdwar and patwari.
The ACB has also raided a house of retired person and found huge money from his residence. Till the story filing the rid was going on and it is expected that more money would be recovered. Some startling documents have been recovered regarding benami property the sources told.
