Jammu, Jun 22: Though Riyaz Ahmad Shah, figuring on serial No 06 of the letter No DSD /101/DPC- 2022/C/179-80 Dated 01-06-2022 has been in news in the daily of Jammu Jottings of June 15, 2022 for not having the qualification as per the Recruitment Rules in SRO 145 of 2002 for the post of Vocational Instructor, as he exists on the strength of establishment, yet in another revelation, the reliable source told the JJ team of correspondents working in the area that in addition to the above it is learnt that the name of the official Riyaz Ahmad Shah, Vocational Instructor, SDD does not exist in the agenda of the SLDPC convened on May 27, 2022. So his case has not been deliberated upon for promotion in the said meeting.
How does his name figure in the letter issued by Deputy Director, Skill Development Department, regarding his being prospective candidate to be placed to the next higher post on promotion. In the letter to the Joint Director, Skill Development, Srinagar, it is requested that APRs for the last three years of the incumbent along with posting details as per format for obtaining vigilance clearance in his favour may also be furnished at an earliest and as per the reports the process in light of this letter has already started.
If his name in the agenda of the DPC convened on 27 the May, 2022 under the chairmanship of the Director, does not figure at all, how his name has been mentioned among the other prospective candidates for promotion. Such erroneous assumption of the officer has send waves of shock among the employees and request the Director, SDD, to intervene and set the matters right with issuance of official communication regarding the matter for information of the employees.
