In Khour Tehsil office 9 out of 18 officials having overstay

• Out of six Patwaris there are three Patwaris are overstaying in the office of Tehsildar and working for last six years.
• Two Junior Assistants and four orderlies are long overstaying in the same office.

Jammu, Jun 16: Why the administration not adhering the proper guidelines in case of rotation of government officials? What is the intention of some of administrators to keep officials in the same office on same posts years together? Who will take the cognizance of overstaying menace, which is directly responsible for corruption? Why are not the concerned officers taking interest to have rotation of their subordinates so that the corrupt practices may ne be spread their tentacles? These are some facts about the working and reason of increase in corruption in offices. The government must take serious cognizance of overstaying menace in the every department especially in the offices of revenue department.
Let me start from the Khour Tehsil there are total eighteen employees including one Tehsildar, four Naib Tehsildar, six Patwari, two Junior Assistants and five orderlies are working in the said Tehsil. But there are some officials who are having stay in this office more than prescribed period and such overstay has become the increase of corruption in the Tehsil office Khour.
In the office of Tehsil Khour there are six Patwaris and out of six Patwaris three are over staying, which is matter of concern. The trio joined the office in the month of September 2016, near about six years earlier but no one bothered to transfer them. Let me tell you that some Patwaris are so powerful that they manage their postings as per their choice and high offices like Deputy Commissioner and above obey the choices of some Patwaris. Sunil Kumar Patwari joined the Tehsil office Khour on 06-09-2016 and he is still there and it seems that he is permanent employee. The second Patwari is Surjeet Kumar who also joined the said office in 07-09-2016 and he too working till date and the third Patwari is Nasib Singh who joined the office on 08-09-2016 and working in the office till date. The trio Patwari has joined in the same month but trio working in the same office. No one from three has made hue and cry regarding overstay because trio are happy and like price postings for them.
There are two junior Assistants who are working in the office of Tehsildar Khour and both are overstayed. One Sanjeev Kumar Junior Assistant has joined the office on 25-03-2015 and after seven years and two months he is still there. The second Junior Assitant is Kanta Sharma who joined the office on 04-07-2017 and it means that she has been working in this office for last five years, which near about triple then a routine stay.
There are four orderlies who are overstaying in the said office. Two orderlies Ajay Sharma and Arun Padha have joined the office since 25-10-2014, it means that duo working in this office for near about 8 years and such misgovernance gives ample chances to corruption. Ghar Singh orderly joined the office on 20-10-2015 and for 7 years he is working there. Another orderly Parshotam singh has joined the office on 28-03-2018,
Rest of the staff including tehsildar Khour and four Naib Tejsildar, three Patwaris and one orderly are not overstayees.
