What sort of fraud is this?
- A police constable is playing role in this land fraud as he has accumulated huge property.
- A fraud Inatqal No 1413 has been done on the name of Chandu and all has been done by the revenue officers.

Jammu, May 10: How can it happen that the land was allotted to the then PoK DPs Badri son of Laxman Dass and later it was mutated on the name of Chandu son of Guru Ditta? How can the revenue officer alter the name of actual allottee to other person? Who is behind this land scam and to cheat the actual allottee Badri? Why not the PRO office rectifying the mistake which have been done on the behest of their office? These are some serious concerns to be addressed and considered by the department to take the things on right track.
The government has allotted the land to a family of POJK DPs of 1947 under Khasra no 261 land measuring 11 kanal and 2 marals but latter the land was mutated under Inatqal number 1413 on the name of Chandu son of Guru Ditta, which is totally fraud as per the land record available with the office Provincial Rehabilitation Officer Jammu. The record speaks that the land was allotted to a family of POJK Displaced Persons of 1947 headed by Badri son of Laxman Dass but without selling or giving power of attorney some shrewd revenue officers have illegally mutated the land on the name of Chandu, who is nowhere in the family of actual allottee.
The land now has become very costly so the land mafia has got active and worked here to cheat the land at any cost. Some of the revenue officers have become the part of the nexus of land mafia and revenue officers and accomplished the mission to cheat the land at any cost. Now the issue is that the family who is actual allottee knew about this land or not, and if not then why not the office of PRO Jammu has conveyed to the family about the allotment.
In this game there is a police constable who own huge property and has become instrumental in cheating the land. The problem is that who will nail in such wrong practices and who will hold the collar of land mafia and land robbers who are eyeing on the land like a hawk. The other state and JDA land has also being encroached and sold to a leader.
