Jammu, May 04: How can a Revenue Officer enter the fake mutation under 254-C Land act? How can a Revenue Officer mutate the JDA land under land act 254-C? Why the fake mutation is being accepted by the revenue officer of Jammu North tehsil? Who is the powerful person behind this illegal process and procedure being accomplished by the revenue officer of Jammu North tehsil? Why have the revenue officers of Jammu North tehsil vowed before the land-grabbers? These are some grave concerns and flaws to be taken seriously by the authorities as all the loopholes be plugged so that no land-grabber can take the illegal advantage.
The JDA is crying about the foul play being played by the revenue officers of Jammu North tehsil as they are trying to hush the case of handing over of the land measuring 19 kanal 15 marlas falling under Khasra No 263 situated at Paloura, which was transferred to JDA 28-01-1975 but later the revenue officers have illegally changed it and showed this land as a state land and mutated on the name of a local person under mutation number 2460 Geem, which is totally illegal and unconstitutional.
The land in question was the property of Jammu Development Authority and it was handed over to JDA on 28-01-1975 and the total land of Khasra No 263 was 36 kanal 15 marlas. This was stated by the JDA in response to RTI vide its reply letter No AO/JDA/RTI/76/66 dated 10-09-2020 but the other letter written by Tehsildar Zone A/B, JDA vide letter No JDA/Teh-A/2224-29 dated 14-03-2022, which was referred to Tehsildar Jammu North besides copy to DC Jammu and SDM Jammu North, clearly states that only 17 kanals out of 36 kanls and 15 marlas was handed over to JDA and 19 kanal 15 marals is still to be demarcated and handed over. Consequently the Tehsildar Jammu North following the letter of tehsildar JDA has written a letter vide his office No TJN/OQ/22-23/38-40 dated 0704-2022 to his concerned Patwari to demarcate the land but the letter is itself confusing and even not mentioned about that how much land is remaining with revenue depart which is to be handed over to JDA.
Such confusing letters of any office creates doubt the officer is trying to hide the facts, besides he is trying to pretend. The Tehsildar Jammu North has not taken the issue of demarcation and handing over of the 19 kanal 15 marlas otherwise till now land has been handed over to JDA. The Tehsildar Jammu North remained so callous that JDA Tehsildar asked to demarcate the land on 15-03-2022 but Jammu North tehsildar wrote the letter after 24 days which speaks that there is something fishy.
