No one take DC directions seriously!
- DC Jammu directs SDM Jammu North to enquire the matter and submit the report within 4 weeks but 5 weeks have passed there nothing on the name of enquiry, neither complainant was called nor was informed.
- Mr LG there is nothing good in revenue department, so please send your roving eyes to check them out.

Jammu, Mar 20: How can a revenue officer mutate a piece of land under revenue act 3 A to a non-refugee? Who is the person behind such type of land scam? Why are not these revenue officers booked under stringent anti-corruption law of land? Who is behind such corrupt practices in revenue department? How they can allot and mutate the land of Custodian/Evacuee Property to the locals? How can a Patwari initiate the process to mutate the custodian land under 3A to a non-refugee and other team including Naib Tehsildar and Tehsildar supported such type of legality? These are some serious concerns to be discussed and taken exclusively by the revenue officers from bottom to top but they are not serious to such type of scams and they have closed their eyes towards such scandal.
The seriousness of the Tehsildar Bhalwal can be gauged that he has received a letter from office of Deputy Commissioner Jammu vide its letter No DCJ/SQ/Compliant/2021-22/5319-20 dated 14-02-2022 through the office of Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu North vide its letter No SDM/JN/Comp/21-22/153 dated 19-02-2022 and the same has been received by the office of Tehsildar Bhalwal on 19-02-2022. The letter of office of Deputy Commissioner clearly stated that the report must be submitted within four weeks from 14-02-2022.
Now the question is that 35 days have passed and there is no whereabouts of the enquiry being conducted by the SDM Jammu North or Tehsildar Bhalwal as per the directions from the office of Deputy Commissioner. Instead of 4 weeks it is about five weeks passed there is no sign of enquiry even the applicant has not been called or intimated about the enquiry. Now the issue is vbery worrisome that what will happen if subordinate officers like SDM and tehsildar would not sincerely adhere to the directions of office Deputy Commissioner? It is not only difficult but it is impossible to have a good administration under such situation.
The Patwari who has done this fraud on his part is an expert to carry on the illegal mutations and allotment but there is no one to check him and to put him on right track. The administration must enquire the matter by expert investigating agencies so that truth may be bring out and officials involved in this should be punished, besides the group of land robbers also may put behind the bars.
