Many times in our country slogans are raised by people of a particular ideology for enforcing universal code. India since centuries and perhaps from the time of development of any initial civilization here had been diverse. There is no testimony anywhere in the world to the success of the universal code system if it has been implemented by any nation so far. Moreover, the imposition or thrusting of universal code in it is like enforcing your own lifestyle by strangulating the lifestyle of others. Even Mother Nature has not allowed any kind of universal code system upon her. Rather she has spread a message of diversity in her every creation which is visible everywhere. All those who have studied history and sociology and those who have interest in these subjects know that initially different civilizations developed at different places of the world. Accordingly their traditions, customs, faiths, beliefs, rituals and a lifestyle also developed according to their respective regions, situations, and time. It was much later when people of different faiths and lifestyles came into contact with each other because of the development of travelling sources and means. Till date there are several tribes which prefer to live in the forests and are not interested in adopting the lifestyle of others or outsiders. This shall be pertinent to mention here that in many regions of our country as well as in the world there are clashes between the people of different faiths, beliefs and of different life styles. To ignore this reality shall not help to overcome the problem of conflicts between people of different regions, speaking different languages and following different faiths. This is what is happening in many countries. Many sensible leaders have recognized this reason and have adopted a process of adopting a lifestyle which is based upon diversity. If you don’t want to follow the traditions of others, how can you force your traditions upon others? This practice of enforcing your customs, traditions, faiths, beliefs, and rituals upon others shall not lead any country towards development but will surely lead towards destruction.
