Tehsildar Akhnoor acts on!
- DC Jammu must investigate the intention of Patwari Manda as it seems that he is employee of land robbers and not of Revenue department.

Jammu, Jan 04: Why has not the Patwari of Manda Tehsil Akhnoor taken the encroachment of ‘Gha Charai’ as a serious issue? Why has the Patwari of Manda Tehsil Akhnoor tried to bury the issue of open encroachment of Gha Charai? Why has not the Patwari of Manda Tehsil Akhnoor immediately reacted to thwart encroachment bid, when he was informed by some local peoples? Why has the Patwari of Manda Tehsil Akhnoor openly extended the support to the land-robbers? What kind of interest the said Patwari was having from the land-robbers? Is Patwari a silent partner in this encroachment or will get the cash from the land dacoit? These are some harsh but relevant questions posed for the revenue department so that they may know that how there officials are encouraging the encroachments and land robberies in Akhnoor and today it was the turn of Manda.
The land encroachment is not new in the Akhnoor as the Akhnoor is the best place for encroachment and mostly the land robbers are very much active in this locality. The land robbers are having much power because some revenue officers and teachers are the part of it besides some political leaders patronising the land robbery, so it is an open issue. The robbery means to loot the wealth which is not yours let it be cash, jewellery, material or land. So these land grabbers can be termed as dacoit as the dacoit of Cahndan Ghati or other places.
The informer informed the concerned Tehsildar and he immediately took action and foiled the encroachment bid, which was initiated by some land thieves. The Tehsildar has deputed special staff for the purpose. It is being learnt that the concerned Tehsildar would report the issue to the police and police will take care. The concerned Tehsildar has told that he would very near in future erect the board indicating the ‘State Land’ so that everyone know it. He said that he would also demarcate the land and segregate the state land from the others to mull all sort of confusions. The Deputy Commissioner Jammu must initiate an enquiry that why the concerned Patwari has tried to evade the serious issue and what kind of link the said Patwari has with the land robbers. The hidden link between Patwari Manda and land encroachers must be investigated and it would surely crack a story of nexus between land robbers and Manda patwari. The bank accounts and the mobile phone of the Manda Patwari must be investigated to expose the land smugglers of the Jammu.
