Tehsildar Maira Mandrian retrieves 77 Kanal state land worth Rs 2.5 Crore

• Within very short span, Mamta Sudershan as Tehsildar has done a great job by retrieving the encroached land by land-robbers, so her efforts must be followed by her colleagues.
• This is a million dollar question, when Mamta Sudershan as Tehsildar can retrieve the land from land-robbers then why not other Tehsildars.

Jammu, Dec 31: The Tehsildar Maira Mandrian, Mamta Sudershan along with her Revenue staff identified and retrieved 77 Kanal 04 Marla State Land worth Rs 2.5 Crores as per stamp duty rates in Village Kandi.
Following instructions of Deputy Commissioner Jammu Anshul Garg, a joint team of Revenue officials started the operation of evicting land with the assistance of Police and finally took over possession of land after a day long drive. When contacted, Revenue officials informed that the operation was conducted in continuation to the massive drive initiated by district administration Jammu to vacate encroached State land.
Stating that a massive exercise is underway in the district to remove all encroachments on the State land, the authorities appealed people to restrain from making any encroachments on the parcels of land belonging to State. Others who were present during the drive are Sham Lal Naib Tehsildar, Mohd Sadiq Girdawar, Patwari concerned and Police team.
