Change in Reasi district head inevitable!
- The Para No 9 and sub para i) clearly says that the maximum number of people permitted to attend any indoor/outdoor gathering shall be restricted to 25.
- The LG has to intervene in this issue and to save the Reasi by making a change in district administration.
- The Chief Secretary and Divisional Commissioner Jammu too take cognizance of this violation immediately.

Reasi, Dec 15: The Deputy Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh has openly violated the guidelines on 15-12-2021, issued by the government on 05-12-2021 by allowing the gathering more than 25 persons in a programme of Block Diwas.
The government has issued guidelines time to time to the senior officers and district heads to monitor that no one should violate the guideline but here in this case the violator is Deputy Commissioner Reasi himself who is presiding function where more than 25 persons are gathered and that too in very congested place.
The government is very serious about the prevailing situation but the Deputy Commissioner Reasi hardly bother about it and it is similar to challenging the government guidelines issued by the Chief Secretary who is chairperson, State Executive Committee, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation, Government of Jammu & Kashmir vide Government Order No. 85-JK (DMRRR) of 2021 dated 05-12-2021.
The Lieutenant Governor Mr Manoj Sinha must send his roving eyes to the district Reasi as the district head administrator is among the violators and who will obey the guidelines of the government.
As per the guideline in para No 5, “the District Magistrate has to ensure that full compliance to Covid Appropriate Behaviour and defaulters are furmly dealt with under relevant sections of the Disaster Management Act and the Indian Penal Copde.’ But here the District Magistrate Reasi Charandeep Singh is supervising the violations and what one can say.
