VVIP Helicopter Crash

The Coonoor helicopter crash of 8^th of this month in any way cannot be taken as a simple crash of a helicopter. The country has lost its first Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat and eleven other exceptional army men in this heartbreaking incident. This has shocked not only the armed forces but also the whole country. One cannot deny the possibility of either security failure or technical laxity. The black-box has been recovered and the possible reason of crash could be ascertained from that significant apparatus of the flying machine. One cannot deny the fact that there had been a reason behind that sorrowful incident either technical or on the security level. Whatever the reason be it now depends upon the scrutiny of ‘Black-Box’.  However, this accident has assumed a demand for fair and transparent findings of the reason, which took the lives of twelve persons within seconds. The reason behind this demand is justified because all types of precautions are taken well in advance for such types of important flights where VVIP are to be on the board. For such flights the air machine to be used is properly checked and has to go through several and stringent tests and trials before giving any approval to use this for a VVIP flight. If it is established and is substantiated by the findings of ‘Black Box’ that there had been technical snag then the matter is really very serious. Anyhow it is yet very immature to say something about the reason for the crash or to reach any conclusion but one cannot ignore these two reasons behind this painful incident. One, as already has been told, could be technical and the other could be security lapse. Both of them can never be taken lightly.
