Jammu, Dec 09: How a Block Medical Officer Akhnoor can deny information against a legal RTI application filed? How a Block Medical Officer Akhnoor can play with the law of land? How a Block Medical Officer Akhnoor can show disrespect to Indian RTI Act openly? Why Block Medical Officer Akhnoor feels that he is running his own kingdom and not part of Indian Territory? What type of scandal Block Medical Officer Akhnoor is trying to hide and how big is it? These are the some tough and relevant questions for health department whose an officer is openly violating the RTI Act.
The story starts here that one social & RTI activist Atul Sudan has filed two different RTIs under the provision enshrined in the Indian constitution with requisite fee on 28-10-2021 under proper receipt.
The BMO Akhnoor has taken 42 days to make reply for two RTIs as the replies are very much lying in his office. It seems that the intention of the Block Medical Officer Akhnoor is not fair and he is trying to hide something, which is of serious in nature.
The applicant has asked about Fair Price Medical Shop M/s Prem Medical Hall at SDH Akhnoor but BMO is at elusive wicket. The applicant has asked about the bid process and other things to clear his doubts but the BMO is all in all in Akhnoor and hardly care for the Indian constitution and Lt Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Mr Manoj Sinha.
Forty-two days have passed the reply to the said RTIs are still in the womb of office of Medical Superintendent of SDH Akhnoor. It is million dollar that how many days are needed by the BMO to reply and why is he delaying. The Commissioner must initiate an enquiry into the dilly-delaying process of the said BMO.
