Patwaris and corruption!
- The Deputy Commissioner Jammu Anshul Garg has sent a message that he would not tolerate any sort of performance against people and law.
- The most corrupt Patwaris Parbav Dev Singh has been directed to remain present in the office of DC Jammu.

Jammu, Dec 08: Just after one day the people protested against one Patwari Deepak Kumar Sharma posted at Patwar Halqa Naugran II, Tehsil Bishnah, the Deputy Commissioner Jammu today ordered transfer and posting of 29 patwaris vide order No DCJ/Adm/88 of 2021 dated 08-12-2021, to break the nexus of Patwari and Property dealers. Besides, the corrupt Patwari namesly Parnav Dev Singh against whose several complaints are lying in DC office and ACB office is also attached with the office of DC Jammu.
The people yesterday who staged a protest against the Patwari Deepak Kumar Sharma and alleged that the patwari was often remained absent from the office and having nexus with Property Dealers, which made the common man to suffer. The protestors openly alleged that Patwari was indulged in corrupt practices and so they staged a protest.
The Deputy Commissioner Jammu promptly acted and ordered transfer and posting of 29 Patwaris mostly on complaint basis including one Deepak Kumar Sharma to break the nexus. Patwari Deepak Kumar Sharma has earned bad name to the Revenue Department as the people were forced to come out from their houses and to protest on the street. It clearly showed that Patwari Deepak Kumar Sharma failed to deliver and do justice with the people of locality.
The people openly alleged that the Patwari Deepak Kumar Sharma was having nexus with property Dealers and always ignored the common man. The people have alleged but it can be wrong too. The DC Jammu must initiate an enquiry into the allegation and the phone calls of the Patwari and his family may be examined by Cyber Crime Cell that whom calls Deepak Kumar Sharma was attending and who is the person calling him regularly and maximum times.
There is the story of another corrupt Patwari, he is Parnav Dev Singh, who remained in the limelight and hit the headlines of the newspaper not for honestly or best performance but for corrupt practices and cheating the Jammu & Kashmir state by selling the land banned land that too with fake grounds. Several complaints are lying in the office of DC Jammu and ACB, which are loudly crying and saying that Parnav Dev Singh is the most.
