Mumbai, Nov 18: The BSE Sensex remained under pressure for the third straight session on Thursday, as it fell by 94.65 pts to 59,913.68 as selling was seen in Materials, Consumer Discretionary Goods and Services and Energy stocks.
The Nifty eased by 42.65 pts at 17,856.
The sensex registered days high and low at 60,177.52 and 59,829.16 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded days high and low at 17,945.60 and 17,838.60 pts.
In 30 scrips, 13 advanced while 17 declined.
The losers were M&M by 1.47 pc to Rs 941.15, HCL Technology by 1.38 pc to Rs 1137.45, Tech Mahindra by 1.37 pc to Rs 1595.70 and Dr Reddy’s Lab by 1.26 pc to Rs 4708.25.
The gainers were SBI by 1.05 pc to Rs 502.40, Bajaj Finserv by 1.05 pc to Rs 18,458.75 and ITC by 0.75 pc to Rs 241.50. UNI
