Flood victims of 26-08-2020 are waiting for help amid letter war between DC Jammu & SDM South
*One of the 26-08-2020 flood victims has died in the hope of help but the Assistant Commissioner (G) Jammu has taken 65 days to write a letter.

The performance office of Deputy Commissioner Jammu in past is a very mystery that those applications and memorandum should be treated at priority are being thrown in dustbin, whereas there is no priority for emergency cases. This has been substantiated when the flood victims of devastated flood on 26-08-2020 have approached to the office of Deputy Commissioner Jammu on 16-10-2020 through a letter of JK Youth Sharanarthi Action Committee vide its letter No JKYSAC/2020/53 dated 16-10-2020 and consequent to this urgent letter the office of Deputy Commissioner Jammu after the gap of two months and five days writes a letter to Sub divisional Magistrate Jammu South to go through the contents of the letter and proceed further under norms.
Here I would like to mention that the issue was very urgent but the then officers of Deputy Commissioner Jammu has taken two months and five days to simply write a letter and such a short time of two months and five has been taken by the Assistant Commissioner (Gen) Jammu Rakesh Dubey (KAS). This attitude of then officers of Deputy Commissioner Jammu has spoken in volume about their performance and calibre.
First memorandum has been submitted to Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South on 05-09-2020 vide letter No JKYSAC/2020/37 with a request to treat the matter on war footing as the victims were much suffering the then with hunger and other things but the Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South has shot a letter to tehsidlar and there was no result. The second request letter as a reminder was again submitted to Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South on 17-09-2020 vide letter No JKYSAC/2020.41 to boost the process but again the Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South has shot the letter to Tehsildars Bahu, Mandal, Bishnah, Arnia and Jammu South vide its letter No SDM/JMU-S/1193-98 dated 19-09-2020 and the copy was sent to office of Deputy Commissioner Jammu to take the cognizance of the most urgent issue. Prior to this letter, the Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South has already written to Tehsildars and DC Jammu but no any Tehsildar has taken the two letters of Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South seriously which is matter of serious concern.
The most intriguing part of the story and which exposes the then Deputy Commissioner Jammu who has taken the letter blindly which was submitted to the office of DC on 16-10-2020. After going through the application on the behalf of 26-08-2020 flood victims which was submitted on 16-10-2020 was being annexed a letter from Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South, which was written to DC Jammu to apprise about the situation but the then officer posted in DC Jammu has blindly acted and again shot a letter to Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South to waste the time and to show their inhuman nature and mentality.
The one year is going to be passed the applications of the 26-08-2020 flood victims have been ignored by the inefficient and blind officers sitting in the office of DC Jammu.
