On day rain washes away Jammu Smart City!
Administration claims exposed, Jammu turns into a big lake, triggers flash floods, landslides
*Where is Smart City concept? One day rain has exposed the government and it is told that government is only name sake and no one is serious on this issue.
*It is sufficient for Jammuites that government may arrest the encroachments of Khad and Jhaad but officers of Revenue department are responsible for the flood flash in Jammu.
*The Khads must be immediately vacated at any cost so that Jammu city can be saved otherwise it would be disastrous flood beside it pandemic can be erupted.
*It will be foolish step to allow the issuance of farad and sale purchase of any kind of Khad in Jammu province and the government must ban it forever.
*Those who have committed fraud and crime by selling and purchasing the Khads both should be booked under disastrous act and their houses must be demolished in one go.
*A case must be registered against the Chief Engineer of Flood Control department Jammu and also against Commissioner JMC as they failed in their jobs.
Jammu, Jul 12: The rain of one day has exposed the tall claims of Jammu & Kashmir government and derailed the life of common person, but the concept of Jammu Smart City has smashed with flash-flood and those who were parroting about Smart City are disappeared from the scene. The rains created havoc in the plains and triggered landslides, flash floods in hilly parts of the region early Monday morning.
This is crystal clear that Flood Control department is a totally dead department and the loss incurred by the flood should be claimed from the salaries of Chief Engineer and others staff to the bottom as they are the burden on the society. The officials of the Jammu Municipal Corporation including Commissioner and others must be booked under law and also the loss incurred by the flash flood may be taken from their salaries.
