No one is to take enquiry seriously ordered by PCCF, CCFJ in Forest deptt
*Why PCCF and CCF Jammu not visiting the spot himself to take the first hand stock of the illegal felling?
*Why they are ordering enquiry if they are not efficient to ascertain the fact?
*Mr LG sahib, the Forest department is in mess and please make an effort to save it from the ruinous.

The Forest department of Jammu & Kashmir especially has become a den of wrong practices and dereliction of duties as no any single officer is sincere to his duty. The illegal felling of trees in general and Khair trees in particular has been understood to be qualification of the officers as the illegal felling provide chances to fill their wallets and constructing their big houses fitted with home bars called Wet Bars to enjoy life like a king but at the cost of Forest of Jammu & Kashmir.
If you will go through the sequence that how the Forest is being looted and plundered by its army men who are posted to save it. There is one Khair man, who is like an enemy of big trees and he cannot see the big trees in Forest land or other land so he immediate comes in action and remove the trees with blinking of eyes as he is expert in laying hands on the big trees.
In this year, we have noticed that senior officers of Forest department has ordered inquiries into some illegal felling of trees including Khair trees but the ordering of inquiry is like a fashion of Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Jammu & Kashmir of Chief Conservator of Forest, Jammu but no one has taken their orders seriously the reason better known to both of them. There can be several reasons that subordinates do not care the orders of superior officers due to several weak points. Either they are inefficient or they corrupt or they non-serious, or they having some other weakness known to their subordinates so they openly defying their orders, otherwise no subordinate defy the orders of seniors. It is crystal clear that officers have to be an efficient, energetic and honest otherwise they have to face same fate as the senior officers of Forest department are facing.
I would like to mention that on 08-05-2021 vide his office letter No PCCF/Coord/FP/E.Circle/1866-68 the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest J&K has ordered an enquiry and fixed the time period of three days to submit the report but no one knows about the report submitted or not. If report not submitted then PCCF has to act but he has not taken any action, if the report has been submitted then why PCCF has not taken any action against the culprits, if the reports has not against anyone then who felled the trees. These are the questions, which must be asked from oneself, if the officer is honest or efficient. But in this case of the said enquiry nothing is outcome then why he had ordered enquiry. What is the fun of ordering enquiry? He must ask himself when he goes to sleep at night. I think every sane person must think about his performance, when one goes to sleep.
The second inquiry was ordered by Chief Conservator of Forest Jammu vide his officer letter No CCF/J/NG/Estt/402-09 dated 29-05-2021 and the time period was fixed a week and that too positively. I am concerned because the in the enquiry order the name of ‘Jammu Jottings’ have been mentioned and the news of ‘Jammu Jottings’ were made the base. Till now, almost one month has passed no action has been taken on the enquiry report if the report has been submitted. Only getting the enquiry report is not purpose but to act accordingly is the purpose of ordering the enquiry. The third enquiry was ordered on 15-04-21 vide officer letter No 55/JR but nothing has been done till date.
The PCCF can go to Kashmir, why he scares to visit Nagrota, Simabl laid, Mera Mandiran and the place where a person has encroached the Forest land and constructed two shops. It is only 11 kilometres away from their offices but they are not willing to leave the AC office for a second.
