*GPS photographs are clearly speaking about the illegal felling of Khair trees in the locality but the Forest authorities have to wake up.
*The SDM Akhnoor has initiated an enquiry vide his letter No SDM/AKH/21-22/234 dated 15-05-2021, directed the concerned tehsildar to immediate visit the location personally and submit the factual report in the alleged scandal.
*The CCF Jammu has already assured that PCCF will order for a detailed enquiry in alleged Maira Mandrian case and the same is awaited.

The scam of illegal felling of Khair trees in Maira Mandrian tehsil is complicating with each passing day besides new exposures are coming out from the its bag, which are sufficient to substantiate that the illegal felling has been carried out by some smugglers that too in connivance with the officials of Forest and Revenue departments.
The circumstantial evidences and some evidences are lying with the Jammu Jottings are sufficient to substantiate that the illegal felling of Khair trees in Maira Mandrian have been done and that too with close proximity of the concerned officials. The Jammu Jottings time and gain has raised the issue so that the accused may be booked but the callous attitude of the authority has given a long rope to the smugglers and to the crooked officials who are hand-in-glove in this scandal. The time is being given to them so that they may erase the evidences of illegal cuttings
Now the GPS photographs are clearly speaking about the illegal felling of Khair trees in the said locality but the arrogant authorities are adamant to not concede the evidences and indirectly supporting the persons who are involved in this scandal.
As per our sources those involved in this scam are now using JCB’S during nights to weed out the left outs of Illegal felled Khair trees to erase the evidence. That is why the enquiry was delayed to give times to erase the evidences to give safe passage to those involved in this gruesome scandal.
Self Confessing videos of department employees, GPS photographs of illegal felled trees and spots with GPS locations where they have weeded out the left out barks of felled trees are enough to substantiate about the misdeeds of department.
Meanwhile, the Sub Divisional Magistrate Akhnoor, on the complaint lodged by Atul Sudan has ordered an enquiry into the alleged scandal and directed the Tehsildar Maira Mandrian with the remarks vide his office letter No SDM/Akh/21-22/234 dated 15-05-2021, ‘to visit the location personally and submit factual report to this office at the earliest so that necessary action be recommended against those officers/officials found involved in this scandal.”
But Jammu Jottings is now having enough evidences to prove the huge scam of Illegal felling of Khair trees in the said locality. It is pertinent to mention that on May 1, the local Forest officials have misguided the local people and instigated them so much that they had cogged the way of Jammu Jottings correspondence and tried to manhandle him but he was enough fortunate that he manage an escape.
