Akhnoor is soft for encroachers!

*In Akhnoor one Master Ji, who are government employees but they are expert in land encroaching even you can say that they are land-stealer.
*It is Jammu Jottings which has initiated a crusade against the land encroachers and land thieves, the result is before every body and now the local people are also coming forward against the encroachment.

Acting promptly on a complaint against the land-stealer, the Sub Divisional Magistrate Akhnoor Gopal Singh KAS today directed the Tehsildar Akhnoor to take stern action against the encroachers if there is any especially on the land Khasra No 344 at Dhok Jagir Akhnoor, which is Gair Mumkin Khad and cannot be encroached upon, no agriculture, no construction even any type of change is not allowed.
Not only this, the SDM has spoken to concerned SHO to remain vigilant and if there is any sign of encroachment then go tough on encroachers and put them behind bar.
The land encroaching incidents in Akhnoor are common for last couple of years as the revenue staff, baring a few staff members, are fully hand in glove with the land encroachers and were given a long rope. Some months earlier the same land-thief Roshan Lal has attempted to steal the same land but the revenue department has foiled his bid for encroachment. He has constructed a hut on the land khasra No 344 but the timely action by Revenue department has saved the land. His hut was dismantled and thrown away by the revenue officials under compulsion as Jammu Jottings has carried the news about the illegal encroachment by Roshan Lal.
It was Jammu Jottings endeavour to highlight the land encroachment process in the Akhnoor, which was going for last so many years that too with the blessings of revenue officers sitting on higher posts. The Akhnoor Sub Division is famous to be a soft place for the encroachers and so the encroachers have encroached the land.
Some people today gathered the courage to raise voice against the stealing of land in Akhnoor Sub Division and gave a written a complaint to the Sub Divisional Magistrate Akhnoor.through Babu Ram and others to save the land from the clutches of encroachers. The SDM Akhnoor directed concerned Tehsildar with such remarks, “Tehsildar Akhnoor Kindly look into the matter and take stern action against the illegal encroachers of any.” It clearly shows that SDM has now changed his narrative in regard to encroachers and would do his best to stop the encroachment.
The inhabitants of Dhok Jagir have started opposing the encroachment in the locality that too openly but the shameless encroachers are trying to their best to encroach. In their complaint they said that Khasra No 344 is Gair Mumkin Khad and it should be saved from the bad eyes of encroachers. The Gair Mumkin Khad is meant for the drainage of rain water during the incessant rain to avoid the flash-flood in the locality.
The land encroachers have already encroached the Gair Mumkin Khads and sold to the common people but it has increased the chances of flash-flood in the locality.
The Akhnoor is very famous for Master Ji  have encroached much land but later both were exposed by the Jammu Jottings.
