Public level serious allegations on Ration Dealer of Bomal

*The Ration Depo is the basic unit of Food Civil Supply & Consumer Affairs department of J&K but the basic unit is full of corrupt practices.
*Why the ration dealer is still roaming free and not behind the bars in case he is involved in bungling and less weighing case?
*There should be a thorough probe in this case and the role of Tehsil Supply Officer of Akhnoor be proved to to get the facts.

Locals of Panchayat Bomal Tehsil Akhnoor levelled serious allegations on local ration dealer Ashok Kumar for over charging, giving less quantity ration than authorized and for misbehaving with the beneficiaries. While talking to the media locals told that they have filed written complaint to Tehsil Supply Officer but no action was taken against the dealer.

Locals further informed that when no action was taken against the dealer they approached Deputy Director Food and Supply department who today sent a team comprising three Tehsil Supply Officers to enquire whole matter. The enquiry team today visited the Panchayat and met with the complainants. The enquiry team gave a patient hearing to the complainants and assured that all their grievances and complaints will be reported to the Deputy Director for the action.

Meanwhile Sarpanch of Panchayat while talking to media levelled serious allegations on Dealer Ashok Kumar of making her fake signature and using fake stamp for supply order. She demanded stern action against dealer. She further informed that one Suram Chand who was once Chairman of Adalati Committee is still signing for the ration supply where as he is not on post since 2016. She said administration should seriously investigate matter and take serious action against dealer under all legal provisions. Locals demand cancellation of license of Ration dealer and demanded that department should initiate enquiry and recovery should be made from the dealer.

Locals who apprise the committee about the complaints against the dealer are: – Nittu Devi (Sarpanch), Madan Lal (Naib Sarpanch), Sunil Kumar (Panch), Neelam Kumari (Panch), Mangat Singh, Swarn Lal, Naseeb Singh, Rattan Lal, Chiman Lal, Sukhdev Singh, Kewal Singh, Rahul Singh, Anu Devi, Veena Devi, Vimla Devi, Bimlo Devi, Kajal Devi etc.
