Patwari not cares for RTI!  

Girdawar asked 45 days to reply but 4 months passed no reply in Jammu North
*The story is very different in this case as the concerned Tehsildar is eager to reply bur Girdawar and patwari are ruling the system and cocking a snook at Tehsildar.

The Indian constitution has given the right to common man to know the facts, where the person senses any doubt but in Jammu & Kashmir there are some officials who are trying to mere eyewash.
An RTI was filed with the office of Tehsildar Jammu North on 05-10-2020 to clear some doubts about Khasra No 261, 262 & 263 situated at Paloura and the concerned Tehsildar acting promptly on the same day forwarded the RTI to the concerned Naib Tehsildar Mishriwala vide his office letter No TJN/PIO/RTI/20-21/48 dated 05-10-20 and the concerned Naib Tehsildar forwarded the same letter to the concerned Patwari vide his office No NTM/09 dated 07-10-2020 with a remarks “For immediate compliance and furnish the requisite information under RTI Act within stipulated period of time u/r.”
Whereas the concerned Girdawar Gulam Rasool in his letter in Urdu language has asked for the time period of one and half month with an excuse that the record is very old and very huge and to check all the record it will take time. The letter of the Girdawar is without date and number, so it is not an easy to see the time period. The report is submitted by concerned Girdawar and the reply was given by the Tehsildar Jammu North vide his letter TJN/PIO/RTI/20-21/84 dated 28-11-2020 with a remarks that if applicant is not satisfied with the reply can approach to 1st Appellant Authority SDM Jammu North.
The intriguing part of the story is that the concerned Girdawar had asked for time period of one and half month but the four months have passed there is no reply till date as it seems that both Girdawar and Patwari are not care for Tehsildar and RTI Act.
