*One of the Forest employees Manjeet Singh is serving in Poonch Forest Division for last 38 years as Junior Assistant, which is matter of surprise. He joined the office on 24-12-1983 and till date he is working as Jr Assistant, no promotion or no demotion.
*What is the purpose of officers like Principal Chief Conservator and Chief Conservators are not giving proper attention to their offices, and only going like casuals?
*There are nine offices in the premises of office of Chief Conservator of Forest Jammu and the transfer within the said nine offices amounts to befooling the people.
*On 01-05-2021 Forest officers transferred three Jr Assistants but it is like a joke. Sushma Sharma transferred from CCF office Jammu to Urban Forestry Division Jammu; Amit Pal from urban Forestry Division Jammu to CCF Jammu vide order No 89 of 2021 and Sayad Ali Urban Forestry Division Jammu to CCF Office Jammu vide order No 90, like children playing and sneaking from one corner to another.
*23 employees are overstaying in same office more than 10 years and the PCCF and CCF are sleeping over it.

Why the senior officers of Forest department are not paying a little attention to the department? Why the employees have been transferred from one room to another within the premises of CCF Jammu? Why there is no implementation of transfer policy in the office of CCF Jammu provincial head office of Forest department? Who is behind the irrational transfers that one remains in one office and other is being transferred within a year? Who has the merit to stay within the premises of CCF office? These are some questions irritating in the mind of people and also these are very uncomfortable for CCF Jammu and PCCF but they have to answer as they are liable to answer.
It is astounding but it is fact that Forest department of Jammu & Kashmir is totally in mess as it has been deviated from the purpose by some shrewd officers and now it is going on the way of ruinous. The illegal felling of trees from the Forest land and other lands have become routine affair of the department and somehow if any one raises the issue then with cooking several excuses the matter be disposed off.
One Sukhbir Singh who is Junior Assistant and he is still in the office of DFO Jammu from 18-05-2009 and remained effective person in the office. The suspended DFO was having special affection for him, reason may be better know to both of them. Another Sunita Devi Jr Assistant is working in the office of DFO Jammu since 26-05-1998 for last long 23 years, which is very ridiculous. PCCF and CCF know this but they cannot transfer these overstaying people reason better known to them. Mr Sudesh Jan is also one of the powerful persons and before him the transfer policy of Forest department is very weak and meek. He is working in the office of Conservator of Forest Jammu east for last 23 years and joined the office on 18-06-1998 and now he is in no mood to go to other office may be he will retire from this room.
How can be Babu Ran Jr Assistant lag behind those powerful employees, he too working in the office of FGTS Doomi for last 30 years and he joined the office on 01-04-1991. Jr Assistant Sunita Koul is also one of the powerful employees, she is working in the office of Conservator of Forest East Circle Jammu for last 13 years as she joined the office on 12-09-2008.
If we come on the staff being posted in the office of Chief Conservator of Forest Jammu, there are several staff members may be enjoying the patronage of some powerful person or persons that they are being treated as permanent employees and ruling the department for years together.
These are the some of the overstaying employees of Forest department and within some days I will come up with more employees who are powerful then the Forest department and transfer policy of the department is their personal thing.
Let me tell you about one of the IFS officers who have taken himself very intelligent, ever-knowing person and started to teach about the journalism, but on the other hand he failed to deliver the services to his office for which he was appointed, so he was sacked from the office recently.
