Akhnoor, October 31: In a significant step towards strengthening travel facilities, promoting tourism and generating employment opportunities in the region, M/s Adhvik Tour & Travels has started its operations in Akhnoor with a commitment to providing safe, reliable and comfortable travel services to customers.
The occasion was graced by Press Club President Shiv Beragi, who was accompanied by Mohit Mehra, Raj Sangotra and Amit Sharma. Owner of the enterprise, Anjali Sharma, welcomed the guests. Sandeep Sharma, Sanjeev Sharma, Chaman Lal, Kaka, Rahul Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Sham Lal, Anil Kumar, Babbu Kumar and several other prominent persons were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Press Club President Shiv Beragi appreciated the initiative and said that the establishment of such an enterprise in Akhnoor was a welcome step towards strengthening the local economy, creating employment opportunities and encouraging tourism-related activities. He observed that initiatives by local entrepreneurs could play an important role in bringing new business opportunities to the region.
The proprietor, Anjali Sharma, informed that the company aims to provide professional travel services with a strong emphasis on passenger safety, transparency and customer satisfaction. The company will provide proper GST bills for bookings and operate vehicles with valid Jammu and Kashmir as well as All India permits.
She further informed that the fleet includes vehicles such as Dzire, Ertiga, Toyota Innova Crysta and Bolero. Special emphasis will be placed on passenger security by engaging experienced and trained drivers, most of whom are ex-servicemen, ensuring disciplined and responsible travel services.
The company will offer taxi services and tour packages to popular destinations including Srinagar, Vaishno Devi, Shiv Khori and Himachal Pradesh, besides other destinations across the country.
Importantly, the venture is also expected to generate employment for dozens of local people from Akhnoor, providing livelihood opportunities to the youth and others.
The initiative is being viewed as a positive step towards establishing Akhnoor as a growing centre for tourism and travel-related services while promoting local entrepreneurship and economic development.
